Had a lovely stay here as my home base for visiting Yosemite. Like many have stated it is about an hour from the park but unless you want to spend an absurd amount of money to stay in the park, or manage to get the elusive camp site reservations that’s really about as close as you’re gonna get. The drive is beautiful and it was nice coming back to a real bed and full kitchen after hiking all day. The place was clean and well kept, soft, clean linens and stocked with toiletries and kitchen things which was really nice. The noise is a little bothersome as is with most older hotels like this. But that’s not their fault, more so the other guests so be respectful of others and try to keep the noise to a minimum when walking by other rooms and try and avoid slamming doors. Overall I would stay again. The hosts were lovely and responsive and have done a wonderful job with this place. Thank you!
